Easier said than done right? Chances are the industry you are in requires lots of sitting. Sitting to check emails, expense reports, write a blog post, make phone calls.. and on and on. Most women entrepreneurs, especially working from home, spend most their working hours sitting down. Recent studies show that the human body was not meant to sit for extremely long hours on end. As you grow your business, keeping yourself as healthy as possible will help to alleviate some stress that comes with owning and operating a business. Here are some tips to take during your day while you work on building a profitable business. 1. Take Breaks It is important to get up stretch and take a walk to loosen up your muscles. Taking strategic mini-breaks through out the day to go outside and breathe some fresh air will work wonders on your productivity. You have permission! This might be hard for some of you workaholics, but how easy is it to work effectively with severe back pain? Taking just twenty minutes a couple times a day to go for a walk or to stretch can save you much grief.
