Automation Strategy for Your Social Media

​Many business women feel that they are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to juggling the responsibilities of family, the operations of their business and the processes that are associated with establishing and expanding a large social media presence. While it may be true that expanding your social media presence can prove to be a daunting task, one of the ways you minimize the amount of time you spend when it comes to growing your social media presence is to utilize a social media automation tool.

However, acquiring a social media automation tool is only half of the answer to the challenge that business women face. The other half stems from formulating an effective social media strategy to implement in said tools. Here are some tips to consider when it comes to formulating an effective social media automation strategy for your business.


Define Your Target Audience

You have probably heard me say this before but one of the very first things you should do is to determine who your target audience is. Ideally, you'll want be extremely specific in regards to the
segment that you will target.

Listen To What Your Target Audience Challenges Are On A Daily Basis

Once you have a good idea of your target segments, the next thing you'll need to do is to become aware of some of the things that occur in their life.
Some of these thing include:
• Problem they may be facing
• Goals they wish to reach
• Typical day to day routine
• Needs

Brainstorm Content Ideas Relevant To Your Audience

The next thing you'll need to do is to think of a few content ideas that will be relevant to your audience. This means that the content should be about them, not about your products or services. This is a MACs-iMized Tip: During your brainstorming session, think up ideas for content from your audiences' perspective. Content that would be highly valuable and memorable, so that they can share your content and subsequently come back for more.

Produce Your Content Ahead of Time

After your brainstorming session, the next thing you should be focusing on is the production of content. You may already have a couple good ideas about the written content that you could share. However, it's important to note that you should also include engaging images and/or videos that
resonate with your audience as well. It's a well-known fact that video content receives a higher level of engagement when compared to written content. That is one reason we produce monthly video content for our membership community. 

Insert Your Content Into a Social Media Automation Tool

A recommendation I like to make is to produce at least 1 week's worth of content. Once you have produced at least a week or two of highly targeted content that your audience will want, the next thing you should do is to acquire a social media automation tool that you will to automate your content.
