As a business women, I'm sure you've heard of or experienced first hand, the following scenario several times:
A friend of yours has an idea. Not just an idea, but a BIG IDEA! One that is meant to change the whole world! It's actually an excellent idea, and has huge potential to develop into a lucrative business. Sounds familiar so far? So, now she decides that this business idea is something to actually turn into a reality, so she sets out along the traditional road to fulfill this dream. She is relentless in her pursuit of success... so much so that she uses up her entire savings, max out all her credit cards,... am I painting a picture yet? How about she borrows money from family, and possibly even take out a second mortgage on her home -- because this idea is the BIG one! I am sure you can see where this is going - but, putting all your eggs into one basket is not only unsafe and irresponsible financially, but it can be emotionally disastrous if that basket of eggs fails for whatever reason. This is the number one reason why bootstrap marketing has become so popular in the last couple of decades. Utilizing the bootstrap marketing business model, your own assets are not put in danger for the sole purpose of building out a new business. You keep your safety net while testing your Big Idea for relevance, marketability, and profitability. It does not make sense to jeopardize your hard-eared income for something that is not proven, and bootstrap entrepreneurs have long realized this. To become a bootstrap business woman, you must have a highly-developed sense of business and financial boundaries, and the ability to focus hard enough on the building of your business, with a solid model that allows you to plan, position and profit. While also keeping these boundaries in mind. It's a special skill-and mind-set, but it can be learned, so if this all seems overwhelming to you, not to worry! I will be teaching business women how to create a plan that positions them to profit in October, live! Find out how you too can learn how to create profits online by registering, here. One of the main things I'd like you to know about myself and other successful bootstrapping business women is that we rely heavily on our ingenuity, resourcefulness and most importantly -- how hard we are willing to work to make our business successes a reality. Action-takers win! A little drive and creativity goes a long way towards creating business success. So, if you are the one with the great BIG IDEA, like the "friend" I mentioned in the beginning, look towards uncovering your own talents and skills and see if a bootstrap marketing model is one you should follow. Keep your hard-earned money in your purse, and still develop the business of your dreams! Do you have experience bootstrapping? Share them in the comments section below.
