With millions of monthly users and over 20 billion images and videos shared over Instagram, it is fair to say that this should be added to your marketing mix.
In a previous post, I showed you how to embed your Instagram posts into your website. Well, you can do the same for videos! I can heart it now... I don't like making videos. It doesn't feel natural or I don't have enough time or tools to invest in this strategy. Well, here is a free tip you can do now to include videos into your marketing, without creating them yourself.
Video marketing is hot!
One of the main reason is speed of delivery. Your clients want information and they want it fast! I do highly encourage you to create original videos using your smartphone, camera or converting PowerPoint presentations into videos. It truly goes a long way with connecting on a more intimate and personal level with your audience.
In the meantime, while you are working up to creating your own videos, you can leverage the power of Instagram by integrating free videos into your content. This can beautifully boost your content. Caveat, give the proper attribution by showing the username and linking back to the original video on Instagram.
Also, when curating videos for your content, try sticking to the personality of your brand. Basically, share videos that are relevant for your industry type and audience.
Top types of content that gets engagement include those that: Entertain, Educate, Inspire and Convert.
