We have heard many successful people talk about gratitude. Oprah has spoken of keeping a gratitude journal (which I have adopted) as well as several other successful, people. In my own experience I realize that the more I stay in a place of gratitude, no matter what, the more I fix my mind on being grateful, the more good things come to me and the happier I feel.
The deliberate action of being grateful always uplifts my spirit and makes me smile; how can it not when it involves listing or mentally cataloging all the things I am grateful for? The benefits are ongoing and I have committed myself to the cultivation of gratitude for every good thing that comes to me each and every day.
