Content is what you put on your website or social media profiles to get people interested in what you have to offer. With technology, there are a variety of options for sharing information, and in a variety of formats. Your clients are no longer just interested in reading only written text, they want information in a variety of formats. These include videos, images, gifs, audio, products, etc.. Content that can be viewed quickly and can easily consume. So, now that we know what content is, let's talk about what is valuable content. Valuable content is anything that enhances your target audience. Pretty straight forward, right?Well, remember, I said earlier that you will have to put in some work? This is where the value of your content comes in. Creating content that gets quickly and easily consumed by your online audience requires vision of purpose and a process. Knowing your industry and client's needs allows you to offer the best product and service information online. Providing best practices and industry information to your audience also qualifies as valuable content. Again, think in terms of ease of consumption. Tips, downloadable guides and resources all count. If you think about your webpages as your brick and mortar in the real world, the content is the equivalent of what you’d stock on your store shelves to attract customers. Having well laid out online pages with a relevant mix of content in various forms will attract more web visitors.
