Women entrepreneurs know the value of networking, but how do you meet people with your interests who also share your passion for owning a business and working for themselves? Meeting other entrepreneurs is sometimes challenging unless you make a deliberate effort to do so. For quite some time, happy hour was always seen as a way to meet new people and conferences were the first thing that came to mind when you need to network. It’s 2012 and things have changed. Networking can take place anywhere from the gym to the grocery store; you just have to be open to it.
We are living in a time where business is also mixed with pleasure. Our Girls Night Out event is the perfect example. Many women gather to enjoy a night of cocktails, samples and just flat out fun, all while meeting other women business owners. Another example can be found in your fitness routine. If you are interested in working out, your weekly class or the track can be places where you can go to meet other women. A luncheon is also a great way to have a fun day out and get some networking in. Ask the women business owners that you know to bring another friend along so that you can all build your network. By looking for opportunities to develop connections where you would not ordinarily expect to find them, is the best way to create meaningful dynamic relationships.
